The department provides a broad range of services for diagnosis and treatment of various paediatric illnesses. The department is well equipped to handle all paediatric emergencies. The department has a PICU and NICU. Department has been handling and actively managing many underweight newborns.
Department is taking community health programme in a big way to identify congenital disorders and identifying underweight children and correcting it.
Department is also planning a strategy to identify children with low IQ and taking appropriate awareness and educational steps for further management of such cases.
